  • From the side, the Mac Pro is about as Apple as they come. Huge, honkin' Apple logo? Check. Cold, hard stainless steel? Check. Precisely milled aluminum slabs? Check.

  • Around back, we spot some ports: a 3.5 mm audio jack, two Thunderbolt/USB-C ports, two USB-As, two HDMIs, two 10 Gb Ethernets, and a run-of-the-mill C14 power plug.

  • Ports are cool, but we're more excited about what's behind all that black plastic: eight PCIe slots, which add up to more upgradability than we've seen from any Apple product in a long time.

  • From above, you can spot two more USB-Cs and what looks like an inconspicuous power LED to the left of the power button.

  • We already got a look at the Mac Pro's two primary handles, but what's this third one up top?

  • Maybe it opens the computer? Nah, it can't be that easy.

Nella vista laterale, il Mac Pro è un Apple come pochi. Un enorme e vistoso logo Apple? Presente. Freddo e duro acciaio inossidabile? Presente. Piastre di alluminio lavorate con precisione? Presenti.

Girandoci attorno, troviamo alcune porte: un jack audio da 3,5 mm, due porte Thunderbolt/USB-C, due USB-A, due HDMI, due Ethernet da 10 Gb e un'ordinaria presa di alimentazione C14.

Le porte saranno anche belle, ma ci emoziona di più quello che c'è dietro tutta quella plastica nera: otto slot PCIe, che portano a una possibilità di aggiornamento che da molto, molto tempo non vedevamo in alcun prodotto Apple.

Dall'alto, notiamo altre due USB-C e quello che sembra un quasi invisibile LED di stato a sinistra del pulsante di accensione.

Abbiamo già dato un'occhiata alle due maniglie principali del Mac Pro, ma che cos'è questa terza maniglia in alto?

Magari aprirà il computer? No, non può essere così facile.
