Remove the battery

  • Apply a freshly heated iOpener to the back of the phone directly behind the battery for two minutes to help soften the adhesive securing the battery.

  • Re-heat and reapply the iOpener as necessary.

  • Alternatively, apply high-concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery to weaken the adhesive underneath. Let the phone sit for several minutes to allow the alcohol to penetrate and weaken the adhesive.

Verwijder de batterij

Leg een verwarmde iOpener gedurende ongeveer twee minuten op de achterkant van de telefoon, direct achter de batterij, om de lijm onder de batterij te verzwakken.

Herverwarm en dien je iOpener zo vaak toe als dat nodig is.

Als alternatief kun je er ook voor kiezen om wat hooggeconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) toe te dienen om de lijm te verzwakken. Laat je telefoon een aantal minuten rusten na het toedienen zodat de alcohol in de lijm kan trekken en deze kan verzwakken.
