Removing the Switch from the Back Plate

  • Next, locate the two Phillips #2 screws which fasten the switch to the back plate (circled in red).

  • Unscrew using a Phillips #2 screwdriver and store the screws in a safe location.

  • Pull the switch away from the back plate. Once the backplate is removed, maintenance and cleaning can take place.

  • Note: when reassembling the switch to the back plate, ensure that the switch is facing the right direction in order to match the High and Low speed back plate markings with the actual High and Low speeds of the switch.

Retirar el interruptor de la placa posterior

A continuación, localiza los dos tornillos Phillips n.° 2 que fijan el interruptor a la placa posterior (marcados con un círculo rojo).

Desatornilla los tornillos con un destornillador Phillips n.° 2 y guárdalos en un lugar seguro.

Retira el interruptor de la placa posterior. Una vez que se hayas retirado la placa posterior, se puede realizar el mantenimiento y la limpieza.

Nota: al volver a ensamblar el interruptor en la placa posterior, asegúrate de que el interruptor esté orientado en la dirección correcta para que coincidan las marcas de velocidad alta y baja de la placa posterior con las velocidades alta y baja reales del interruptor.
