Remove the bottom adhesive strip

  • Grab the pull tab with your fingers and slowly pull it away from the battery, toward the bottom of the iPhone.

  • Pull hard enough to maintain tension on the strip, but don't force it. Give it plenty of time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.

  • Don't press down on the battery. Hold the iPhone firmly by its sides.

  • Keep the strip flat and unwrinkled. Try to pull evenly on the whole strip, rather than pulling mainly in the middle or on one side.

  • Pull at a low angle so the strip doesn't snag on the edge of the battery.

  • If the adhesive strip breaks off, try to retrieve it using your fingers or blunt tweezers, and continue pulling—but do not pry under the battery.

  • If any of the adhesive strips break off underneath the battery and can't be retrieved, try to remove the other strips, and then proceed as instructed below.

Verwijder de onderste kleefstrips

Pak het treklipje vast met je vingers en trek deze langzaam weg van de batterij, in de richting van de onderkant van de iPhone.

Trek hard genoeg om eenzelfde druk op de strip te houden, maar trek niet te hard. Geef het de tijd om uit te rekken en los te komen onder de batterij.

Zet geen extra druk op de batterij. Zorg dat je de iPhone aan de zijkanten vast hebt.

Houd de strips plat en vlak terwijl je trekt. Probeer om een gelijke druk te zetten over de gehele strip in plaats van vooral in het middle of aan een kant te trekken.

Trek in een zo laag mogelijke hoek aan de lipjes, zodat je zeker weet dat de strips niet scheuren op de zijkant van de batterij.

Als de kleefstrip breekt, kun je proberen deze opnieuw te pakken met je vinger of een bot pincet en doorgaan met trekken—maar wrik niet onder de batterij.

Als één van de strips wel afbreekt terwijl deze nog onder de batterij vastzit en niet kan worden verwijderd, ga je gewoon verder met de andere strips en volg de instructies.
