Déposer les 3 boutons marche/arrêt + volume

  • Passer très délicatement un cutter entre le châssis de l'écran et la nappe qui supporte les 3 boutons "marche/arrêt" et "volume", situés sur la gauche du téléphone pour décoller cette nappe

  • Prendre garde à ne pas déformer la nappe pour la conserver bien plate

  • Enlever délicatement la colle au dos de la nappe avec un ongle ou avec la spatule en plastique

  • Présenter la nappe sur le nouveau châssis et vérifier qu'elle se positionne bien à plat sur la tranche du châssis juste en affleurant le bord métallique du châssis

  • Coller la nappe avec une fine ligne de colle néoprène (voir étape 9 pour le collage)

Remove the Power and Volume Buttons

Carefully use a flat spudger or a sharp blade between the frame of the screen and the cable which supports the power and volume buttons, located on the left of the telephone to slice the adhesive and remove this cable

Be careful not to deform the flex cable to keep it flat for reinstallation

Carefully remove the glue on the back of the flex cable with a fingernail or a plastic spudger

Place the cable on the new chassis and check that it is positioned flat on the edge of the frame just flush with the metal edge of the chassis

Glue the flex cable with a thin line of neoprene glue (see step 9 for gluing instructions)
