Opening up the earbud

  • Place the bud horizontally into a rubber-guarded vice or a pair of blunt pliers.

  • Apply steady, even pressure to either side of the bud along the main housing seam (the seam between the two arrows). The pressure should break the seal.

  • Only apply enough pressure to create a small gap between the two halves of the bud. If you use pliers, put a cloth between the pliers and the buds to prevent the teeth from digging into the soft plastic.

Ouvrir l'écouteur

Placez l'écouteur à l'horizontale dans un étau garni de joints (ou mordaches) en caoutchouc ou bien dans une pince émoussée.

Appliquez une pression constante et régulière de chaque côté de l'écouteur le long de la jointure principale du boîtier (la jointure indiquée par les deux flèches). La pression devrait l'ouvrir.

Appuyez suffisamment pour créer un léger interstice entre les deux moitiés de l'écouteur. Si vous vous servez d'une pince, mettez un morceau de tissu entre la pince et les écouteurs pour éviter que les dents abîment le plastique mou.
