  • Flip the main board over.

  • Lift (or pry with fingers) the heat sink straight off of the mainboard and processors.

  • Force will be required as the thermal paste "glues" the heat sink to the processor.

  • Note: If new thermal paste is readily available, clean the old paste off well and apply new thermal paste at the time of reassembly. If new thermal paste is not available or you are cheap, do not disturb the "old" thermal paste.

Retournez l'ensemble de carte mère.

Soulevez (ou faites pression avec vos doigts) le dissipateur tout droit hors de l'ensemble et des processeurs.

Cette étape nécessite de la force, car de la pâte thermique "colle" le dissipateur au processeur.

Note: si vous avez de la pâte thermique à votre disposition, enlevez bien la vieille pâte thermique au moment du remontage. Si vous n'en avez pas à votre disposition ou que vous n'en avez pas les moyens, laissez la "vieille" pâte thermique.
