Loosen the display

  • Once the screen is warm to the touch, apply a suction cup near the top edge of the phone below the earpiece speaker.

  • If the phone's screen is cracked, the suction cup may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction cup in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Pull up the suction cup, and insert the tip of an opening pick under the display where the earpiece speaker is located.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top left corner of the phone to cut the adhesive.

Maak het scherm los

Als het scherm eenmaal te warm is om aan te raken, druk je een zuignap bij de bovenkant van de telefoon, net onder de oorstukspeaker.

Als het scherm van de telefoon gebarsten is, zal de zuignap zich niet vast kunnen zuigen. Probeer het in dat geval op te tillen met een stuk sterke tape of lijm je zuignap vast met secondelijm en probeer het nog eens.

Trek de zuignap omhoog en steek de punt van een openingsplectrum onder het scherm op de plek waar de oorstukspeaker zich ook bevindt.

Schuif je openingsplectrum naar de linker bovenhoek van de telefoon en snijd onderweg alle lijm door die je tegenkomt.
