  • Use a pair of tweezers to pull out the left adhesive tab from underneath the battery.

  • The adhesive tab underneath the battery can rip very easily. Make sure you pull out the tab in a slow and steady motion and in a flat angle. To prevent the adhesive tab from ripping, it's helpfull to twist the strip around the tweezers.

  • In case one of the adhesive tabs rips and it‘s not possible to pull it out completely, you can use isopropyl alcohol or an heated iOpener to loosen the adhesive. After the adhesive is soft enough use a prying tool such as an opening pick or a plastic card to pry out the battery.

De kleefstrip onder de batterij kan snel scheuren. Zorg dat je de strip in een langzame maar constante beweging en onder een zo vlak mogelijke hoek onder de batterij weg trekt. Om te voorkomen dat de strip scheurt, is het handig om deze om je pincet heen te wikkelen tijdens het trekken.

Als een van de kleefstrips toch scheurt en het lukt je niet de strip weer te pakken te krijgen, kun je wat isopropyl alcohol of een verwarmde iOpener gebruiken om de lijm onder de batterij te verzwakken. Als de lijm eenmaal zacht genoeg is, pak je een wriktool (zoals een openingsplectrum of een plastic kaart) om de batterij omhoog en los te wrikken.
