  • As you slice through the adhesive with the opening pick, try your best not to bend the battery pack. Soft shell lithium-ion batteries are highly susceptible to damage and can ignite when compromised.

  • Insert another opening pick into the right edge, near the first opening pick.

  • Slide the opening pick down along the right edge to loosen the right adhesive strip.

  • If the slicing feels difficult, apply a few more drops of isopropyl alcohol into the edge, wait a minute for it to seep in, and try again.

Zorg ervoor dat je, tijdens het doorsnijden van de lijm met je plectrum, je best doet om de batterij niet te vervormen of te verbuigen. Soft-shell lithium-ion batterijen zijn erg kwetsbaar en kunnen in brand vliegen of zelfs ontploffen als deze worden beschadigd of doorboord.

Steek nog een openingsplectrum in de rechterzijde van de batterij, vlak bij de eerste plectrum.

Schuif je plectrum langs de rechterkant naar beneden om de rechter kleefstrip los te maken.

Als je veel moeite hebt met het doorsnijden van de lijm dien je wat extra druppels isopropyl alcohol toe onder de zijkant van de batterij. Wacht een minuutje, zodat het begint te werken en probeer het vervolgens nog eens.
