  • Not satisfied with merely removing the modules, we bust out our Torx T5 screwdriver and an opening pick and tear down even more.

  • Starting with the top module:

  • The 8 MP ƒ2.0 selfie camera and earpiece speaker are both removable.

  • The headphone jack as well as the proximity and ambient light sensors are soldered onto the breakout board.

  • The camera module carries a modular 12 MP ƒ1.8 camera with a SONY IMX363 Exmor RS sensor. The flash LEDs are soldered onto the breakout board.

  • The bottom module contains the vibration motor, and a soldered-on USB-C port and microphone.

  • The loudspeaker module is the loneliest of the bits clinging onto the bottom module with its two contacts.

Ne nous contentant pas de juste retirer les modules, nous dégainons notre tournevis Torx T5 et un médiator pour aller plus loin dans notre démontage.

Nous commençons par le module supérieur :

La caméra selfie 8 MP ƒ2,0 et le haut-parleur interne se démontent tous les deux.

La prise jack ainsi que les capteurs de proximité et de luminosité ambiante sont soudés au circuit imprimé.

Le module de la caméra comprend une caméra 12 MP ƒ1,8 modulaire avec un capteur SONY IMX363 Exmor RS. Les LED du flash sont soudées au circuit imprimé.

Le module inférieur inclut le moteur à vibrations ainsi qu'un port USB-C et un microphone, tous deux soudés.

Le module du haut-parleur est le plus solitaire de tous, tout juste relié au module inférieur par deux contacts.
