Remove the display assembly

  • Thread the screen cable and digitizer cable out of their cutouts, then remove the display.

  • To install a replacement display assembly:

  • Clean all adhesive residue from the phone frame. Adhesive that's left behind may apply uneven pressure against the replacement screen and potentially damage it.

  • Apply a pre-cut adhesive, or double-sided tape to the phone frame's perimeter.

  • Peel all plastic liners from the back of the replacement screen to expose the adhesive.

  • Carefully thread the screen cable and the digitizer cable through the phone frame's cutouts.

  • Lay the screen onto the frame and place some books on top for an hour to help the screen adhesive bond to the frame.

  • During the boot-up process after reassembly, the screen will go through a calibration sequence. Do not touch the screen during this process, as it could result in improper touch calibration and create touch issues.

Fädle die Kabel des Displays und des Touchscreens aus ihren Ausschnitten heraus. Entferne dann das Display.

So wird die Ersatzdisplayeinheit eingebaut:

Entferne alle Klebstoffreste vom Rahmen des Smartphones. Wenn noch Klebstoffreste übrig bleiben, können sie ungleichmäßig auf das Ersatzdisplay drücken und es beschädigen.

Bringe vorgestanzte Klebestreifen oder doppelseitiges Klebeband am Rand des Smartphones an.

Ziehe alle Schutzfolien von der Rückseite des Ersatzdisplays ab, so dass die Klebeflächen freigelegt werden.

Führe sorgfältig die Flachbandkabel des Displays und des Touchscreens durch die Ausschnitte im Rahmen des Smartphones.

Lege das Display auf den Rahmen und lasse ein paar Bücher eine Stunde lang darauf liegen, damit das Display gut am Rahmen festklebt.

Beim ersten Neustart nach der Reparatur durchläuft das Display eine Kalibrierungssequenz. Berühre es dabei nicht, es kann sonst sein, dass der Touchscreen nicht richtig kalibriert wird, was zu Problemen mit der Touch-Funktion führen kann.
