  • Throughout the following procedure, you'll be sliding thin plastic cards between the battery and rear case of the iPad, to separate the adhesive securing the battery in place. Be careful to keep the cards as flat as possible to avoid bending the battery, which may damage it and cause it to release dangerous chemicals.

  • Flip the iPad back over and insert a plastic card between the top left battery and the rear case.

  • If you encounter significant resistance, re-heat the iOpener and repeat the previous step to give the adhesive more time to soften.

A lo largo del siguiente procedimiento, deslizarás unas tarjetas finas de plástico entre la batería y la carcasa trasera del iPad, para separar el adhesivo que fija la batería. Ten cuidado de mantener las tarjetas lo más planas posible para evitar doblar la batería, lo que podría dañarla y hacer que libere sustancias químicas peligrosas.

Dale la vuelta al iPad e introduce una tarjeta de plástico entre la batería superior izquierda y la carcasa trasera.

Si encuentras mucha resistencia, vuelva a calentar el iOpener y repite el paso anterior para que el adhesivo tenga más tiempo para ablandarse.
