Install the New Caps

  • Note the shape of the hole under the replacement analog stick cap and how it matches the shape of the analog stick shaft. Orient them correctly for a proper fit.

  • Take your new caps and push them into the shaft.

  • Push the cap all the way down until you hear a ‘click’, which is the analog button being pressed.

  • Make sure that the analog shaft stays straight and centered while you are pushing down on the cap.

  • The replacement caps sent by 8BitDo seem to be a newer, better silicon-coated variant, instead of the old caps that used rubber.

Instala las tapas nuevas

Ten en cuenta la forma del orificio que hay bajo la tapa del stick analógico de repuesto y cómo coincide con la forma del eje del stick analógico. Y oriéntalos correctamente para un ajuste adecuado.

Coloca las tapas nuevas sobre el eje y empújalas.

Empuja la tapa completamente hacia abajo, hasta que escuches un "clic", que indica que el stick analógico se está anclando.

Asegúrate de que el eje analógico esté recto y centrado, mientras presionas la tapa hacia abajo.

Las tapas de recambio enviadas por 8BitDo parecen ser una variante más nueva y mejor recubierta de silicona, en lugar de las tapas antiguas que usaban caucho.
