Separating the Headphone Jack

  • The headphone jack is adhered to the frame, and its flex cable is adhered to the frame and the strip of Kapton tape.

  • Use heat to soften the adhesive, then insert an opening pick here to separate the flex cable from the frame.

  • Use an opening pick to pry around the headphone jack to separate it from the adhesive in its housing.

  • If you're only replacing the headphone jack, peel it off of the Kapton tape. If you're replacing the display, go to the next step.

Séparation de la prise casque

La prise casque est collée au cadre et son câble flexible est collé au cadre et à la bande de ruban Kapton.

Utilisez de la chaleur pour ramollir l'adhésif, puis insérez un médiator ici pour séparer le câble flexible du cadre.

Utilisez un médiator pour faire levier autour de la prise casque afin de la séparer de l'adhésif dans son logement.

Si vous ne remplacez que la prise casque, retirez-la du ruban Kapton. Si vous remplacez l'écran, passez à l'étape suivante.
