  • For the following steps, you'll need to relocate the Battery Blocker you inserted earlier.

  • The battery isolation pick or battery blocker is an outdated way of isolating the battery, as you risk damaging the battery pins underneath the logic board. If you use this method, take extreme care to insert it gently and straight in the direction of the logic board. Do not twist or swing the pick side to side.

  • Remove the Battery Blocker from the battery power connector.

  • Slide one side of the Battery Blocker under the battery power connector, and ensure that it doesn't cover the ZIF connector for the SIM card tray flex cable.

Bei den folgenden Schritten musst du den Akkublocker umsetzen, den du vorher schon eingesetzt hattest.

Das Isolieren des Akkus mit diesem Akkutrennstück (bzw. battery blocker) ist überholt, du riskierst damit, die Akkukontakte unter dem Akku zu beschädigen. Wenn du das Trennstück trotzdem verwenden willst, dann setze es äußerst behutsam und nur genau in Richtung des Logic Boards ein. Verdrehe es nicht und bewege es nicht seitlich hin und her.

Entferne den Akkublocker vom Akkuanschluss.

Schiebe eine Seite des Akkublockers unter den Akkuanschluss. Passe dabei auf, dass er nicht den ZIF-Verbinder am Flachbandkabel zum SIM-Einschub überdeckt.
