  • New for this release: detailed care instructions, including warnings against touching the touchscreen too hard, and exposing the phone to dust.

  • Looks like Samsung really wants us to take care of this thing ... it doesn't say anything about taking it apart though? So I guess we'll continue?

  • "When folding the device, do not place any objects, such as cards, coins, or keys, on the screen." We would never do that.

  • If you haven't seen one of these in person, here's how it stacks up:

  • In "folded" configuration, it's narrower, taller, and much thicker than a Galaxy S10+.

  • In "unfolded" form, however, it's ... big. Not quite iPad mini 5 big, but its bezels are tiny—so in terms of usable screen real estate, the two devices are actually pretty comparable.

  • It also folds more easily than an iPad Pro, and without the shower of glass shards.

Nieuw voor deze release: gedetailleerde onderhoudsinstructies, inclusief waarschuwingen tegen het te hard indrukken van het touchscreen en het aan stof blootstellen van de telefoon.

Het lijkt erop dat Samsung echt wil dat we dit toestel goed onderhouden... Het zegt echter niets over het toestel uit elkaar halen. Dus dan gaan we maar door!

"Plaats, bij het vouwen van het toestel, nooit objecten, zoals kaarten, munten of sleutels op het scherm." Dat zouden wij nooit doen.

Als je ze op deze manier nog nooit in het echt hebt gezien, leggen we je hier uit wat dit inhoudt:

In de "gevouwen" configuratie is het toestel smaller, langer en veel dikker dan een Galaxy S10+.

In de "ongevouwen" vorm echter is het toestel, wel... groot. Niet iPad mini 5 groot, maar het frame is klein—dus qua bruikbaar schermoppervlakte zijn de twee toestellen best wel vergelijkbaar.

Deze vouwt ook net iets makkelijker dan de iPad Pro en bespaart je een douche aan glasscherven.
