  • New for this release: detailed care instructions, including warnings against touching the touchscreen too hard, and exposing the phone to dust.

  • Looks like Samsung really wants us to take care of this thing ... it doesn't say anything about taking it apart though? So I guess we'll continue?

  • "When folding the device, do not place any objects, such as cards, coins, or keys, on the screen." We would never do that.

  • If you haven't seen one of these in person, here's how it stacks up:

  • In "folded" configuration, it's narrower, taller, and much thicker than a Galaxy S10+.

  • In "unfolded" form, however, it's ... big. Not quite iPad mini 5 big, but its bezels are tiny—so in terms of usable screen real estate, the two devices are actually pretty comparable.

  • It also folds more easily than an iPad Pro, and without the shower of glass shards.

Nouveauté sur cette version : des instructions d'entretien détaillées, y compris pour vous avertir qu'il ne faut ni trop appuyer sur la vitre tactile ni exposer l'appareil à la poussière.

On dirait que Samsung tient à ce que nous prenions soin de ce truc… mais garde le silence au sujet d'un éventuel démontage… On continue alors ?

"Quand vous pliez votre appareil, veuillez ne laisser aucun objet, ni carte, ni pièce de monnaie, ni clé sur l'écran." Jamais nous ne ferions une chose pareille.

Au cas où vous n'ayez encore jamais croisé un de ces petits gars, voyez-le ici à côté de quelques collègues  :

En mode "plié", il est plus élancé, plus haut, mais bien plus épais qu'un Galaxy S10+.

En mode "déplié", il est mmh… grand. Pas tout à fait autant qu'un iPad mini 5, mais les joints sont étroits, donc en termes de taille d'écran utilisable, les deux appareils se valent bien.

Il se plie aussi beaucoup plus facilement qu'un iPad Pro et sans qu'il pleuve des éclats de verre.
