Insert an opening pick

  • Heat an iOpener and apply it to the same edge of the phone for two minutes.

  • Apply a suction cup to the back of the phone, as close to the center of the right edge as possible (where the adhesive is narrowest).

  • Pull on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap.

  • Due to tight tolerances and strong adhesive, multiple attempts may be necessary to create a gap for the opening pick.

  • If you are having trouble creating a gap, the adhesive isn't weakened enough. Make sure you have heated the edge until just barely too hot to touch try this step again.

  • You can try applying a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol into the seam to help loosen the adhesive.

  • Do not apply excessive force with the pick, or you will risk cracking the back cover glass.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura

Scalda un iOpener e applicalo per due minuti sullo stesso bordo del telefono.

Applica una ventosa al retro del telefono, il più vicino possibile al centro del bordo destro (dove la superficie incollata è più stretta).

Tira la ventosa con forza costante per creare una fessura tra la cover posteriore e il telaio.

Inserisci la punta di un plettro di apertura nella fessura.

A causa delle tolleranze strette e dell'adesivo forte, potrebbero essere necessari tentativi multipli per creare un'apertura per il plettro di apertura.

Se hai difficoltà a creare un'apertura, l'adesivo non è abbastanza indebolito. Assicurati di aver riscaldato il bordo fino a che non è appena troppo caldo da toccare e prova di nuovo questo passaggio.

Puoi cercare di far colare nella fessura poche gocce di alcol isopropilico ad alta concentrazione (oltre il 90%) per ammorbidire ancora l'adesivo.

Non usare troppa forza con il plettro perché rischieresti di crepare il vetro della cover posteriore.
