Heat the surface of the display with a heatgun for approx. 2 minutes at 200°C.

Insert an iFixit Jimmy between the display and the rest of the device, and carefully cut through the adhesive around the phone.

Loosen the display, while still applying heat with the heat gun.

Remove the cover on the display connector.

Remove remnants of the old display and clean the phone.

Leave the original liner on the new display. Plug the new display in and test it.
