The new plug is tiny, so are the wires.

1st the wires are usually coated in an insulation varnish, burn it with a lighter.

2nd brush and clean the wires as much as you can, or the soldering metal will not stick to it!

Solder each wire to the correct receptacle, test with a phone or PC that all works fine, remote controller included.
