Removing the recoil spring assembly

  • The recoil spring assembly is on the bottom of the barrel. It is held in place by the spring's own tension against a notch in the barrel (2nd picture) and its slot in the end of the slide.

  • While holding the slide with the muzzle pointing away from you, put your thumb or index finger on the rear-facing portion of the recoil spring assembly. Push the assembly forward to free it from the tension against the barrel, then release the tension and pull it out of its slot in the slide.

Desmontaje del conjunto del resorte de retroceso

El conjunto del resorte recuperador se encuentra en la parte inferior del cañón. Se mantiene en su lugar gracias a la propia tensión del resorte contra una muesca en el cañón (segunda imagen) y su ranura en el extremo de la corredera.

Mientras sujeta la corredera con la boca del cañón en dirección opuesta a usted, coloque el pulgar o el índice sobre la parte trasera del conjunto del resorte recuperador. Empuje el conjunto hacia adelante para liberarlo de la tensión contra el cañón, luego libere la tensión y extráigalo de su ranura en la corredera.
