  • Once you cut the adhesive on all sides of the phone you can slowly lift the display upwards and remove it.

  • The display cable is threaded through a hole in the midframe; guide it through carefully in order to free the display.

  • Before installing a new display remove any remaining adhesive from the frame, and clean the glued areas with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a lint-free cloth.

  • If the frame is bent, or if any glue or glass remnants are left behind, the new display will not mount correctly and may be damaged. If necessary, replace the frame.

Als je alle lijm aan alle kanten hebt door weten te snijden kun je het scherm langzaam naar boven optillen en deze verwijderen.

De schermkabel loopt door een gat in het middelste frame; dirigeer deze op voorzichtige wijze uit het frame zodat het scherm vrij komt en je deze kunt losmaken.

Verwijder, voordat je het nieuwe scherm installeert, alle overgebleven lijmresten van het frame en maak de gelijmde gebieden schoon met wat isopropyl alcohol (>90%) en een stofvrij stuk doek.

Als het frame gebogen is, of als er enige lijm- of glasresten overblijven, zal het nieuwe scherm niet correct kunnen worden geplaatst en kun je het beschadigen. Vervang, indien nodig, ook het scherm.
