  • Now, if you want to restore all of your saved game info, connect your USB hard drive that you used to do the back up on.

  • Go to the 'Settings' XMB menu, select 'System Settings' and then go to 'Backup Utility'

  • Select 'Restore' and then select the USB device that should have your backed up data on it.

  • You should only have one backup to choose from.

  • The PS3 will reformat the hard drive and copy the backup, this can take up to 2 hours.

  • Congrats, now you have a PS3 with a HUGE amount of space.
