  • To fix the issue:

  • 1. Use compressed air (gently) to blow into the connector to remove liquid or loose debris. Alternatively use a straw and blow directly into the connector.

  • 2 . Clean the connector with clean water and paper towel cut in tiny strip. Dispense water gently via drop directly into the connector, and remove them again with paper towel strips

  • 3. Let it dry: leave the connector alone for 6hrs so it can dry out before charging. Using the phone in this time span is ok as long as it's not charged.

  • If charging is needed urgently, use wireless charging (S9+)

  • Be aware that the charge cable connector can be contaminated with salt/ or rust. Therefore it need to be gently cleaned as described above . Else it can transfer to the phone, and cause the issue again. Or cause the issue while connected to the phone.

  • If there is fabric fibers inside the connector, these can be removed with a needle by scraping the bottom of the connector. Use magnification during operation is best.

Pour résoudre le problème :

1. Utiliser de l'air comprimé pour souffler doucement dans le connecteur afin d'enlever le liquide ou les débris détachés. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser une paille et souffler directement dans le connecteur.

2. Nettoyez le connecteur avec de l’eau propre et du papier absorbant coupé en minuscule bande. Faites couler l'eau doucement via une goutte directement dans le connecteur et retirez-les à nouveau avec des bandes de papier absorbant.

3. Laisser sécher : laisser le connecteur seul pendant 6 heures pour qu'il puisse sécher avant de le recharger. L'utilisation du téléphone dans ce laps de temps est acceptable tant qu'il n'est pas chargé.

Si une charge est nécessaire de toute urgence, utilisez une charge sans fil (S9+).

Sachez que le connecteur du câble de charge peut être contaminé par du sel ou de la rouille. Par conséquent, il doit être nettoyé en douceur comme décrite ci-dessus, sinon il peut être transféré sur le téléphone et causer à nouveau le problème. Ou causer le problème pendant que vous êtes connecté au téléphone.
