  • The Phone checks for unwanted resistance on two of the pins on the usb-c charge connector on the phone. If there is water or too much moisture present in the connector, it will trigger a warning/audio beep - and disable charging.

  • The water present check is performed when charger is inserted.

  • Salt water, or water with clorine is absolutely not good for the connector. Should it happen - DO NOT CHARGE VIA THE CONNECTOR. clean and dry it before charging. This can save the connector/phone.

De telefoon controleert of er ongewenste weerstand is op twee van de pinnen van de USB-C-poort. Als er water of te veel vocht in de poort zit, geeft je telefoon een waarschuwing en/of audiosignaal af en wordt de mogelijkheid om op te laden uitgeschakeld.

De controle op vocht en water wordt uitgevoerd wanneer er een oplader wordt aangesloten.

Zout water of water met chloor is absoluut niet goed voor de USB-C-poort. Indien de poort daar toch mee in aanraking is gekomen–LAAD DAN NIET VIA DE USB-C-POORT OP. Maak deze eerst schoon en droog voordat je weer probeert op te laden. Dit kan de aansluitpoort en/of de telefoon redden.
