  • With the tape peeled up, we remove the display assembly and can turn our attention to the interior.

  • Bad news: due to the placement of connectors, you'll need to remove the LCD prior to removing the digitizer. Great news: the LCD and front glass are two separate components. This contrasts the fused glass-LCD assemblies in both the Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7. Thanks for the repairability, Apple!

Une fois la bande décollée, nous enlevons l'ensemble écran et pouvons tourner notre attention sur l'intérieur.

Mauvaise nouvelle : en raison de l'emplacement des connecteurs, vous devrez retirer l'écran LCD avant d'enlever la vitre tacile. Excellente nouvelle : l'écran LCD et le verre frontal sont deux composants distincts. Cela change des ensembles en verre à cristaux liquides fusionnés dans le Kindle Fire HD et le Nexus 7.
