  • Moving on from the logic board, here are two more logic boards.

  • The new XR board + SIM reader (center) looks a bit like an unfolded iPhone X board (right). The sprawling iPhone 8 Plus board is shown at left for comparison.

  • This new form factor pretty much perfectly fills the gap in the evolution of iPhone logic boards.

  • A closeup via X-rays reminds us that this "simplified" iPhone logic board is still enormously complex.

  • Even more silicon hides beneath other components, like the TrueDepth camera system.

Oltre alla scheda logica, ecco altre due schede logiche.

La nuova scheda XR + lettore SIM (al centro) sembra un po' una scheda iPhone X (a destra) disposta nel senso della lunghezza. La tentacolare scheda dell'iPhone 8 Plus è disposta a sinistra per confronto.

Questo nuovo fattore di forma riempie perfettamente l'intervallo vuoto nell'evoluzione delle schede logiche degli iPhone.

Un primissimo piano a raggi X ci ricorda che questa scheda logica iPhone "semplificata" resta enormemente complessa.

In mezzo agli altri componenti si nasconde molto altro silicio, come il sistema TrueDepth della fotocamera.
