  • Moving on from the logic board, here are two more logic boards.

  • The new XR board + SIM reader (center) looks a bit like an unfolded iPhone X board (right). The sprawling iPhone 8 Plus board is shown at left for comparison.

  • This new form factor pretty much perfectly fills the gap in the evolution of iPhone logic boards.

  • A closeup via X-rays reminds us that this "simplified" iPhone logic board is still enormously complex.

  • Even more silicon hides beneath other components, like the TrueDepth camera system.

Nach dem Logic Board geht es mit zwei weiteren Logic Boards weiter.

Die neue XR Platine + SIM Kartenleser (in der Mitte) sieht ein bisschen aus wie eine auseinandergefaltete iPhone X Platine (rechts). Zum Vergleich ist links die iPhone 8 Plus Platine.

Dieser neue Formfaktor füllt die Lücke in der Evolution der iPhone Logic Boards ziemlich perfekt aus.

Eine Nahaufnahme mittels Röntgenstrahlen erinnert uns daran, dass dieses "vereinfachte" iPhone-Logic Board immer noch enorm komplex ist.

Noch mehr Silizium verbirgt sich unter anderen Komponenten, wie dem TrueDepth-Kamerasystem.
