  • Once the display is warm to the touch, apply a suction cup to the upper edge of the phone.

  • Lift on the suction cup, and insert an opening pick under the display assembly.

  • Start to slide the opening pick along the upper edge of the phone to cut the adhesive. Leave an opening pick at the corner to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

  • The screen's flex cable is located right behind the volume buttons, and may interfere with your cutting tool.

  • Continue to slide the tip of the opening pick along the side towards the bottom of the phone to cut the adhesive.

Als het scherm eenmaal te warm is om comfortabel aan te raken, druk je een zuignap op de bovenkant van het scherm.

Til de zuignap op en steek een openingsplectrum onder de schermmodule.

Schuif je plectrum langs de bovenkant van de telefoon en zorg dat je alle lijm die je onderweg tegenkomt door probeert te snijden. Laat een openingsplectrum in de hoek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw gaat hechten.

De flexkabel van het scherm bevindt zich direct achter de volumeknoppen en kunnen dus onderweg in de weg komen te zitten van je plectrum. Wees je hiervan bewust en werk voorzichtig.

Blijf de punt van je plectrum langs de zijkant, richting de onderkant van de telefoon, schuiven om zo alle lijm die je tegenkomt door te snijden.
