  • Not only will swapping a cracked screen require a complete phone disassembly, but you've gotta think about the back now, too. The Pixel 2 XL rear glass covered 20% of the phone— the Pixel 3 XL’s rear panel is 100% crackable. That doesn't bode well for repairability...

On dirait que le Pixel a trop traîné avec les trouble-fêtes de la gamme Galaxy. Les modules d'antenne, la batterie têtue et l'écran ardu à remplacer (fabriqué par Samsung même !) ont un petit air de famille.

Non seulement un écran cassé nécessite de démonter complètement le téléphone, mais il faut aussi prendre en considération la coque arrière. La coque en verre du Pixel 2 XL recouvrait 20 % du téléphone. Le panneau arrière du Pixel 3 XL est cassable à 100 %. Cela ne présage rien de bon pour la réparabilité …
