  • Use a spudger or your fingers to lift the heatsink up and off the motherboard to remove it.

  • You may feel a bit of resistance. This is normal, since the heat sink is slightly bonded to the CPU with thermal paste.

  • Clean off the old thermal paste from the heat sink and CPU using high-concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Apply new thermal paste to the CPU before reassembly.

  • Apply thermal paste to all surfaces that had thermal paste applied previously. This includes between the heatpipe and aluminum shield, which the Switch uses as additional heatsinking.

Gebruik een spudger of je vingers om het koellichaam omhoog en van het moederbord weg te tillen en te verwijderen.

Het kan zijn dat je wat weerstand voelt. Dit is normaal, aangezien het koellichaam lichtjes aan de CPU is bevestigd door middel van thermische pasta.

Verwijder de oude thermische pasta van het koellichaam en de CPU met behulp van isopropyl alcohol (>90%) en een microvezel doekje. Breng nieuwe thermische pasta aan op de CPU voordat je je toestel weer in elkaar zet.

Breng thermische pasta aan op alle oppervlakken waar eerder thermische pasta op is aangebracht. Dit omvat ook tussen de heatpipe en het aluminium schild, dat de Switch gebruikt als extra koellichaam.
