  • In the following steps, you will separate the display assembly from the Moto Z Play's chassis.

  • For reference, refer to the first image, showing the back of the display assembly (right) after it has been removed from the phone (left).

  • If you plan to re-use the display assembly, pay particular attention to the side edges. When slicing through the glue in this area, you must be careful to insert your tool less than 2 mm, or your tool will come in contact with the display panel and damage it.

  • Playing cards are a safer, but much slower, prying tool. The soft paper cards are less likely to damage the display panel, which is good news if you plan to reuse it.

Durant les étapes suivantes, vous allez séparer l'écran complet du châssis du Moto Z Play.

Sur la première image vous pouvez voir, à titre de référence, l'arrière de l'écran complet (à droite) une fois retiré du téléphone (à gauche)

Si vous comptez réutiliser l'écran, soyez particulièrement vigilant par rapport aux bords des côtés. Lorsque vous coupez l'adhésif à ces endroits, veillez à insérez votre outil moins de 2 mm, sinon vous risquez de touchez et d'endommager le panneau d'écran.

Une carte de jeu est un outil moins rapide mais bien plus sur. Le fait qu'elle soit pliable et douce, réduit le risque d'endommager le panneau d'écran, ce qui est une bonne nouvelle si vous comptez le réutiliser.
