  • Use a suction handle to lift the back cover and create an opening pick to get in the gap.

  • Since the back cover is also slightly curved at the edges you want to insert the opening pick at a lower angle from underneath.

  • Start at the middle of the side and cut the adhesive while pulling up with the suction handle.

  • Be careful not to lever the opening pick too much to avoid breaking the back cover. Rather pull with the suction handle and use the pick for cutting the adhesive.

  • Move the pick towards the bottom corner and leave it there to keep the adhesive from resealing to the case.

  • Use another pick and move it to the top corner.

  • If it's getting harder to move the pick you might need to reheat the iOpener and apply it to the back cover again.

Gebruik een zuignap op het achterste paneel omhoog te tillen. Gebruik vervolgens een openingsplectrum om in de opening te steken.

Aangezien het achterste paneel ook lichtjes gebogen is aan de zijkanten, wil je je openingsplectrum niet recht, maar enigszins in een hoek naar beneden in de opening steken.

Begin in het midden van de zijkant en snijd de lijm door terwijl je tegelijkertijd de zuignap omhoog tilt.

Wees voorzichtig dat je niet te hard met je openingsplectrum duwt, aangezien je daarmee het achterste paneel kunt breken. Gebruik in plaats daarvan de zuignap om te trekken en je plectrum om de lijm door te snijden.

Beweeg je plectrum richting de onderste hoeken en laat deze daar zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw gaat hechten.

Gebruik een andere plectrum en beweeg deze naar de bovenste hoek.

Als het steeds lastiger wordt om je plectrum te bewegen, kan het handig zijn om je iOpener opnieuw te verwarmen en deze nog eens op de achterkant van de telefoon te leggen.
