  • Use a plastic opening tool to pry the edge of the home button ribbon cable up from the display assembly.

  • Start on the right, at the area of the ribbon cable between the gold contact points, and work to the left.

  • Going left to right may rip your ribbon cable as the contacts are well adhered to the front panel.

  • Prying directly at one gold contact point or the other may break its soldering and pop it off the ribbon cable.

  • If you have trouble sliding the plastic opening tool under the contact points, flip the tool over and gently push against the right side of the contacts to loosen the adhesive, then try again.

Usa un attrezzo di apertura in plastica per sollevare un lato del cavo a nastro del pulsante home dal complesso del display.

Comincia a destra, nella zona del cavo a nastro tra i punti di contatto dorati, e avanza verso sinistra.

Avanzare da sinistra a destra potrebbe strappare il cavo a nastro dato che i contatti sono incollati saldamente al pannello frontale.

Far leva direttamente su uno dei contatti dorati potrebbe rompere la sua saldatura e staccarlo dal cavo a nastro.

Se hai problemi a far scivolare l'attrezzo di apertura in plastica sotto i punti di contatto, gira l'attrezzo e spingi delicatamente contro la parte destra dei punti di contatto per allentare l'adesivo, poi riprova.
