  • Make sure the laptop is powered off before starting. Remove the battery.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to pry out the narrow plastic lid.

  • You may use a flat-head screwdriver for this task, but will most likely scratch the keyboard and the plastic lid itself.

  • Exercise caution when re-assembling: carefully and gently snap the lid back on. The plastic lid may easily break since it is made of a thin and soft plastic material.

  • Before replacing the lid, you may want to power on the laptop and test that the keyboard is working properly.

Zuerst sicherstellen, dass der Laptop ausgeschaltet ist. Entferne den Akku.

Mit einem Plastikwerkzeug die schmale Zierleiste entfernen.

Für diesen Schritt kann man einen Schlitz Schraubendreher nehmen, aber dabei besteht die Gefahr, die Tastatur und die Zierleiste zu zerkratzen.

Vorsicht beim Zusammenbau am Ende: Die Zierleiste kann leicht zerbrechen, da sie aus dünnem, weichem Plastik gemacht ist.

Bevor die Abdeckung wieder eingesetzt wird, könnte es sinnvoll sein, den Laptop erst einzuschalten und zu testen, ob die neue Tastatur korrekt funktioniert.
