Open front cover of scale.
Examine the edges of the LED display to see if there are broken or missing solder connections with the circuit board.
If there are broken solder connections, re-solder the existing display to the board and skip the remaining steps. Otherwise, the LED display needs to be replaced to correct display issues, so proceed with the remaining steps.
