Removing the Battery

  • Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.

  • Remove the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.

  • Lift the battery, along with its cable, off the palm-rest assembly.

  • Turn the computer over, open the display, and press the power button for about five seconds to ground the system board.

  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

Débranchez le câble de la batterie de la carte mère.

Retirez les vis qui fixent la batterie au repose-poignets.

Soulevez la batterie, ainsi que son câble, pour la retirer de l'assemblage du repose-poignets.

Retournez l'ordinateur, ouvrez l'écran et appuyez sur le bouton d'alimentation pendant environ cinq secondes pour mettre à la terre la carte mère.

Pour le remontage, suivez l'étape en sens inverse.
