  • Next we turn our attention to the brains of the phone, and after removing a few friendly Phillips screws, the motherboard slides free.

  • If this board already looks a bit worse for wear, that's because we previously removed the EMI shields for our video teardown. Give yourself a pat on the back if you noticed!

  • Near the top of the board we get a look at the S9's new heart rate and blood pressure sensors, a step up from the standard heart rate sensor seen on many phones.

  • This new blood pressure hardware works alongside a Samsung and UCSF co-developed research app to give users info about stress levels and blood pressure.

Ensuite, nous portons notre attention au cerveau du téléphone, et après avoir enlevé quelques gentilles vis cruciformes, nous libérons la carte mère.

Si cette carte semble un peu secouée, c'est parce que nous avons enlevé le blindage électromagnétique (EMI) auparavant pour notre démontage en vidéo. Félicitations si vous vous en étiez rendu compte !

Près du sommet de la carte, nous avons les nouveaux capteurs de rythme cardiaque et de pression artérielle du S9, un progrès par rapport au capteur de rythme cardiaque standard qu'on trouve dans beaucoup de téléphones.

Ce nouveau matériel de pression artérielle fonctionne avec une application co-développée par Samsung et UCSF, pour donner aux utilisateurs des informations concernant le niveau de stress et la pression artérielle.
