  • Next we turn our attention to the brains of the phone, and after removing a few friendly Phillips screws, the motherboard slides free.

  • If this board already looks a bit worse for wear, that's because we previously removed the EMI shields for our video teardown. Give yourself a pat on the back if you noticed!

  • Near the top of the board we get a look at the S9's new heart rate and blood pressure sensors, a step up from the standard heart rate sensor seen on many phones.

  • This new blood pressure hardware works alongside a Samsung and UCSF co-developed research app to give users info about stress levels and blood pressure.

Luego dirigimos nuestra atención al cerebro del teléfono, y luego de remover algunos tornillos Philips amigables, la placa madre está liberada.

Cerca de la parte superior de la placa, vemos el sensor de frecuencia cardíaca y presión arterial, una mejora del sensor estándar que hemos visto en muchos teléfonos.

Este hardware nuevo de presión arterial funciona con una aplicación que Samsung desarrolló junto a UCSF que les da a los usuarios información sobre los niveles de estrés y presión arterial.
