  • As before, the heat and opening pick can do the job, but it's a marathon slog to get here if you're replacing a broken screen.

  • The Samsung-made display cable, like the cameras, is labeled Star, and combines both display and digitizer in one sealed unit.

  • There's two final chips piggybacked onto the display:

  • Samsung S6SY761X touch controller (as seen on the S8 series)

  • Winbond W25Q80EWUXIE 8 Mb serial NOR flash

La fièvre du démontage atteint son apogée lorsque nous entreprenons de desceller l'écran. Toute cette glu met notre patience à rude épreuve et nous finissons encore une fois par abandonner notre pile d'iOpeners en faveur d'un pistolet à air chaud.

Comme tout à l'heure, combiner chaleur et médiator est efficace, mais vouloir remplacer un écran cassé sera à chaque fois un marathon épuisant.

La nappe d'écran de fabrication Samsung, dénommée Star à l'instar des caméras, relie l'écran et la vitre tactile en un seul bloc soudé.
