Soldering the new battery into place

  • To make things a bit easier you can tin the tabs of the battery.

  • Place the battery on the circuit board (make sure you get the orientation right), put a small blob of solder on your iron and heat up the pad under the battery tab while applying some slight pressure to the tab. Once the battery is in place remove the iron and repeat the step for the other side.

  • You can now reassemble the cartridge and check if it works.

Soldar la batería nueva en su lugar

Para facilitar un poco las cosas, puedes estañar las pestañas de la batería.

Coloca la batería en la placa de circuito (asegúrate de obtener la orientación correcta), coloca una pequeña gota de soldadura en su plancha y calienta la almohadilla debajo de la pestaña de la batería mientras aplicas una ligera presión sobre la pestaña. Una vez que la batería esté en su lugar, retira la plancha y repite el paso para el otro lado.

Ahora puedes volver a montar el cartucho y comprobar si funciona.
