  • Be very careful not to touch the capacitor leads or any exposed solder joints on the back of the power supply (boxed in red).

  • Grasp the small tab at the end of one of the bottom edge display adhesive strips and pull the adhesive toward the top of the iMac to remove it.

  • Repeat this step with the other adhesive strip and remove it.

  • If either adhesive strip breaks before it's removed, use a plastic card to slice through the remaining adhesive.

Veillez à ne pas toucher les condensateurs ni les soudures apparentes à l'arrière du bloc d'alimentation (encadré en rouge).

Saisissez la petite languette située à l'extrémité de l'une des bandes adhésives du bord inférieur de l’écran et tirez-la vers le haut de l'iMac pour la retirer.

Répétez cette étape avec l'autre bande adhésive et retirez-la.

Si l'une des bandes adhésives se déchire avant d'être retirée, utilisez une carte plastique pour découper la partie restante de l'adhésif.
