Replace the speaker gasket

  • The speaker's gasket is not reusable. During reassembly, follow this step to replace the gasket.

  • Use tweezers to peel off and remove all the old gasket from the frame and speaker.

  • Use a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean all the gasket's adhesive residue from the frame and speaker.

  • Before installing the speaker gasket, find its proper orientation on the bottom of the speaker—the large cutout on the gasket should go around the speaker grille mesh.

  • Remove the larger, clear liner from the gasket and use tweezers to carefully put the gasket into place on the bottom of the speaker.

  • To avoid touching the exposed adhesive, only grip the gasket by the outer edges of the liner.

  • Use your fingers or a spudger to firmly press the gasket into place to secure it with the adhesive.

  • Remove the remaining liner and put the speaker into place, making sure the speaker connector doesn't get stuck underneath.

Remplacer le joint du haut-parleur

Le joint du haut-parleur n'est pas réutilisable. Lors du remontage, suivez cette étape pour le remplacer.

Utilisez une pincette pour décoller et retirer la totalité de l’ancien joint du cadre et du haut-parleur.

Utilisez un chiffon en microfibre et de l'alcool isopropylique pour nettoyer tous les résidus d'adhésif du joint du cadre et du haut-parleur.

Avant d'installer le joint du haut-parleur, trouvez son orientation correcte sur le bas du haut-parleur : la grande découpe sur le joint doit entourer la grille du haut-parleur.

Retirez la plus grande protection transparente du joint et utilisez une pincette pour mettre soigneusement le joint en place sur le bas du haut-parleur.

Pour éviter de toucher l'adhésif exposé, saisissez le joint uniquement par les ses bords extérieurs de la protection.

Utilisez vos doigts ou une spatule pour appuyer fermement sur le joint afin de le fixer avec l'adhésif.

Retirez la protection restante et mettez le haut-parleur en place, en vous assurant que le connecteur du haut-parleur ne reste pas coincé en dessous.
