  • Our first target was the pump.

  • The pump is responsible for drawing water up from the reservoir to keep the boiler supplied with water... to boil.

  • First, remove the two clear plastic hoses from the barb fittings on either end of the pump.

  • When removing hoses from barb fittings, it is helpful to use a probe (the tip of a spudger in our case) to separate the hose from the metal fitting before pulling it off.

  • One hose is responsible for drawing water up from the reservoir and the other returns excess water if the boiler is filled to capacity and reaches the preset pressure of the pressure release valve.

Nuestro primer objetivo fue la bomba.

La bomba es la encargada de extraer agua del depósito para mantener la caldera abastecida de agua... para que hierva.

Primero, retira las dos mangueras de plástico transparente de los conectores dentados en cada extremo de la bomba.

Al retirar las mangueras de los conectores dentados, es útil utilizar una sonda (la punta de un spudger en nuestro caso) para separar la manguera del conector de metal antes de sacarla.

Una manguera es la encargada de extraer agua del depósito y la otra devuelve el exceso de agua si la caldera se llena hasta su capacidad máxima y alcanza la presión preestablecida de la válvula de liberación de presión.
