  • Use a heat gun to apply heat to the front face of the phone. This will soften the adhesive used to secure the phone's battery.

  • When using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive, be careful not to overheat the battery. The hair dryer/heat gun will make the phone hot to the touch, so handle the phone with care.

  • Alternatively, you can place a heated iOpener across the top of the battery for approximately three minutes to soften the adhesive holding the battery to the device.

  • If you have multiple iOpeners, it is recommended to also put one on the screen side of the battery.

Gebruik een warmtepistool om de voorkant van de telefoon te verhitten. Dit zal de lijm die onder de batterij zit en de batterij bevestigt verzwakken.

Wees voorzichtig en voorkom dat je bij het gebruik van een warmtepistool of föhn de batterij oververhit. Ga bij het gebruik van een van beide apparaten voorzichtig te werk.

Als alternatief kun je er ook voor kiezen om een verwarmde iOpener te gebruiken om de lijm die de batterij vasthoudt te verzwakken. Leg de iOpener gedurende drie minuten over de bovenkant van de batterij om de lijm eronder te verzachten.

Als je meerdere iOpeners hebt, raden we je ook aan een iOpener op de schermzijde van de batterij te leggen om de lijm te verzwakken.
