  • If the HP UEFI diagnostics detect a persistent inaccuracy, a calibration will be recommended - this EliteBook 640 G9 does not need it, so it was not presented to me.

  • In order to check the battery health on HP laptops, you MUST use the UEFI tool as HP hides the actual heath data from the operating system. The tool can be downloaded here and written to a USB drive, or a secondary partition on the laptop - the choice is yours.

  • Run the HP diagnostics and do the following to access the battery test:

  • Locate Power in the diagnostics

  • Click on Battery and select Run once. This will take approx 2-3 minutes.

  • NOT SHOWN HERE Click on Battery details to review the health data.

**HP UEFI UNIQUEMENT** Vérification de l'état de la batterie

Si les diagnostics HP UEFI détectent une imprécision persistante, un calibrage est recommandé - cet EliteBook 640 G9 n'en a pas besoin, il n'affiche donc pas cette recommandation.

Pour vérifier l'état de la batterie des ordinateurs portables HP, vous DEVEZ utiliser l'outil UEFI, car HP cache les données d'état réelles au système d'exploitation. L'outil peut être téléchargé ici et sauvegardé sur une clé USB ou sur une partition secondaire de l'ordinateur portable - à vous de choisir.

Lancez les diagnostics HP et procédez comme suit pour accéder au test de la batterie :

Repérez Alimentation/Power parmi les diagnostics.

Cliquez sur Batterie et sélectionnez Exécuter une fois. Cela prendra environ 2 à 3 minutes.
