Opening the hood

Locate the hood latch beside the driver's side door, right next to the left foot rest.

Pull the latch, should here a pop noise to know the hood has unlatched.

Walk in front of the car, reach your hand under the front of the hood to locate the latch.
-
Prop the latch and locate the spark plug cover.
