Elgato Stream Deck MK.1 Screen Replacement

  • 1 × Prying Tools—Decently strong small prybar tool, I used a metal one that came with my screwdriver set. A plastic spudger will probably break.
  • 1 × double sided sticky tape—This is used to hold the button press grid to the casing, it might not be necessary but I haven't tested removing it.
  • 1 × Pliers—Decently strong small pliars, long-nosed would be based.
  • 1 × Copper tape—If you're careful you can re-use the existing tape but it's cheap to replace and looks nicer to replace it.
  • 1 × BGA Insulation Tape—This is used to hold some of the ribbon cables in-place, you can probably get away without it but I advise using something, cellotape will probably be fine but it might melt.
  • 1 × Scissors—To cut the tape.
  • 1 × 4.3 Inch TFT LCD Display Screen—You can buy these on AliExpress for low prices, check they have 40 pins and that the ribbon layout is the same as your streamdeck. You need the non-touchscreen/non-capacitive version with a resolution of 480x282, 3.3v. They come in different brightnesses, I got a 1000nits IPS version.
