  • 1 × Soldering Workstation—Contains everything you need for this guide, except flux.
  • 1 × Flux Pen 10ml No Clean
  • 1 × Heavy-Duty Spudger—Used to open the monitor - less likely to leave permanent marks.
  • 1 × Flathead Screwdriver—Using this WILL damage the plastic but easily opens "difficult" monitors.
  • 1 × 63/37 Leaded Solder—While this will ruin the RoHS compliance of any board it is used on, many people prefer leaded solder over lead free. See Step 1 for backup source for the lead solder mentioned in this guide.
  • 1 × Lead-Free Solder—If you have the tools, here's a direct way to buy the solder without tools.
  • 2 × 35v 1000uf capacitor—Replaces original 25V 1000uF part - Delta 00A
  • 1 × 10v 1000uf capacitor—Identical to original part used - Delta 00A
  • 2 × 35v 220uf capacitor—Replaces 25V 220uF part - Delta 00A
